#18 – How to Talk about God – Text a friend

Hi,

Everyone is carrying around their mobile phone. That means, they have the gospel. They have answers to their spiritual questions.

What they need is to know where to look!

So, you could be talking to a friend and you could say, “You know, there’s a great website that takes on the hard questions of life and God…like ‘why is life so hard’ and evidence for God’s existence. It has a great search box, so you can find whatever you want. Let me text it to you.”

Or, you could say, “Here, let me give you a card to it.”

If you know the person and have their phone number, text it to them. Then they’ll have it in their phone: www.everystudent.com.

What about those moments when you leave someone and then think, “Oh, I wish I had thought to say….” Happens to me all the time.

This is a great opportunity! You could text message them (or email them) something like this:

“I was thinking about our conversation and there’s an article that I think you might like. Here it is: ____”

or

“I was thinking about our conversation. Here’s a pretty good article that addresses the question, ‘Is There a God?.’ Here it is: https://www.everystudent.com/features/is-there-a-god.html”

Then you can ask them about it later.
